What is Continuing Care Home Type B - Secure?
Formerly known as Memory Care, this level provides specialized care for seniors living with dementia. This is for individuals with moderate to severe dementia, who may have a high risk of wandering and unpredictable behaviours but are not a safety risk to themselves or others. This environment provides a purposeful home-like design with small groupings of private bedrooms and associated spaces with security features (i.e., secured spaces).
All of our residences offer licensed supportive living accommodations that allow us to provide convenient services such as 24-hour emergency response, three daily meals, weekly housekeeping, and medication management.

Each of our trained service team members commits to approaching the workday with a promise to do their best to make all interactions positive and meaningful, one moment at a time. We believe that having positive, authentic relationships among all care partners elevates person-centered care and makes it more meaningful.
This level includes three meals daily, housekeeping services, access to our activity programming and 24-hour emergency response. It also includes assistance with the activities of daily living, additional unscheduled care in a secure area.
